Capers in Brine
Our hand picked capers have been patiently picked and selected one by one. The fruits of this magnificent indigenous plant are then mixed with delimara sea salt and left to mature. Moisture flowing out of the capers is mixed with the salt and produces a very tasty brine which in due course preserves the fruit. Capers are an ideal ingredient that compliments traditional Maltese dishes, such as fish and fresh Maltese bread.
